Sultan Tit:: The Beautiful Song Bird of Manas NP

Manas is home of beautiful songbird Sultan tit. It is commonly found in woodland with higher and medium-range tall tree canopy cover. Usually seen as single or with a group. Both sexes are looks similar but female plumage little bit dull than male. The young one plumage is similar to the female. They forage insects and sometimes also seen to prefer fig. They have slow and fluttery flight. The Sultan tit is evaluated as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List.
This is the right time to see this beautiful bird in Manas.
