| Rhino-17 and New Born Calf at Manas National Park |
Rhino-17 gave birth to a New Born Baby Calf on 20th March,2013 at Bansbari Range of Manas National Park. The Mother and calf are observed to be in a good condition. This rhino (17) was from Kaziranga and was released in Manas on 12 March 2013 along with her male calf (Rhino18), indicating that the rhino was pregnant at that time. I congratulate the entire Indian Rhino Vision -2020 team for making this happen for the rhinos and Manas National Park. Feel privilaged to be a part of the Great Joy and honor.
