I would like to share the film 'From Pobitora to Manas', which provides an overview of the rhino translocations from Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary to Manas National Park, Assam under the Indian Rhino Vision 2020 (IRV 2020). The film follows the journey of the 10 rhinos that were translocated between April 2008 and January 2012.
The film was made completely in house through the Species and Landscapes programme of WWF-India with the support of the Assam Forest Department. The film was officially released by the Hon'ble Minister of Environment and Forests, Assam Mr. Rakibul Hussain at a special function in Guwahati, Assam in the end of November 2012 in the presence of senior Forest Department officials and IRV members.
