Today around 7-30 p.m., Dharanidhar Bodo, ACF and Bansbari range in charge of Manas National Park was injured by bullet on chest when he was trying to prevent wild elephants from straying outside the park boundary. He is on the way to hospital at Barpeta Road but there are possibilities that he will be brought to Guwahati.
