Obituary to Great Forester!! Late  Daneswar Das ( File Photo-May,2008) I recalled him as Great Forester with ultimate vigor and energy. He was field  leader at the time of  first  translocated rhino  monitoring team at Bansbari Manas NP inthe year 2008. He had discipline, knowledge and punctuality with sense of natural humor. He was died  on last week due to prolonged sickness. May his soul rest in peace !   In the midst of hard duty some humor with Mr. B.Islam Busy on rhino tracking with Tarini Kalita

Member of Kanklata Self Help Group, Bamunkhal Hamlet under Bhuyanpara Revenue Village near fringe of Bhuyanpara range Manas National Park. SHG is constituted with only female members. Three males seen in the photographs  were Village Head and another two were Village Secretary and President. Kanaklata group has vision to build 100% economical self sufficiency  to all women living in their village. Traditionally, they are good weaver, experienced farmer. I wish all my best  for  this women group on occasion of World Women Day,2014.
