A training on Smart patrolling and Law and enforcement  was organised for the staff of Manas NP during 14 to 16th March 2013. The main program was attended by 30 staff from all the ranges of the park, in addition to that, a field based patrolling training was organised in an interior camp of Panbari range that was attended by about 25 more staff on the third day. This was the first training of this type they had attended and it will be good even  a marginal change in the patrolling efforts in the park. The staff mentioned that these training should be organised at the range level also and at regular intervals. Further they stated that they should be provided with the proper patrolling gears and equipment along with full support from the park officials. Mr Rohit Singh was  the main trainer  and Mr Amit Sharma, Mr Deba Kumar Dutta were  the associate trainer .
