Where to Stay at Manas NP

  Rich bio-diversity, beautiful natural landscape, good roads and development of multiple tourist facilities are the major tourist attraction of Manas. Presently, fifteen (13) tourist resorts are now available to accommodate all type of nature lovers in Manas. Out of 13 tourist resorts, 3 are government inspection bungalows where normal tourist can get accommodation prior permission. Tourist may choose the following resorts and government IBs as follows:

1. Birina Tourist Lodge

It is situated midst of the Fatemabad Tea Estate of Bansbari. This private tourist lodge is run by Astha Nature's Tours and Travels Bongaigaon. They have six well-furnished rooms with traditional looks as well as antique feel with old tea estate manager bungalow.

Phone 9435383053 2. Florican Cottages Florican Cottages is the tourism venture of Manas Ever Welfare Society(MEWS) situated at forest boundary of Bansbari range, facing a beautiful landscape of  Manas national park. It is run by 12 member group from nearby fringe villages of Manas NP. Florican Cottages have 9 ethnic style cottages including one Wooden Bungalow. This group provides different types of wildlife-related activity inside and outside the park. 3. Camp Buffalo Retreat

This is a private resort run by Sanjit Das is situated near Manas National Park's Bansbari range. Tourist may communicate to the lodge by calling the owner.

4. Manas View Jungle Resort

 This is one of the oldest tourist resorts situated facing the lush green vegetation of Manas. There are 12 well-furnished rooms available including meeting halls. Generally, useful to host a bigger event.

7.Prakriti  Neerh

The Prakriti Neerh is another holiday resort situated at Pulsiguri area of Bansbari range of Manas National Park. The place is just in front of Pulsiguri antipoaching camp so tourist has an easy chance to know how forest guards work to protect the wildlife of Manas NP. They have 15 rooms for stay.

This resort is owned by one retired army officer. Tourist may get excited to see a variety of plant species available in this campus. 8. Smiling Tusker Elephant Camp

This resort was established with a unique concept to give shelter unemployed or idle domesticated elephants. Here tourists can find a lot of information related to the domesticated elephant. The picturesque big campus also gives solace on the heart.

It is situated just in front of the entry points of the park and has good facilities. There are 16 rooms available for tourist. It is run by one of the reputed tourist operator- the Jungle Travels. The Thobang Jungle Camp It is situated at the easternmost corner of Manas National Park along the India- Bhutan connecting highway. The Place is called as Koklibari. This resort is run by one of the oldest conservation-based organization known as Manas Maozigerndi Ecotourism Society (MMES). They have 4 rooms but more facilities are under construction. 11.The Upper Bunglow

The is heritage bunglow of Manas National Park. It is situated at the beautiful location of India and Bhutan International Border and one of the most sought tourist destination of North East India. 12. The Lower Bungalow

The Lower Bunglow is also situated at Mathanguri. This was originally used by forest officers for inspection purpose but now the bungalow is open for tourists. This tourist lodge has 6 rooms for accommodation.

13. The Bansbari Range Inspection Bunglow

This is situated at Bansbari Range of Manas. This is often occupied by forest department guests and officers. Therefore it is very rare to get rooms for tourist. There are 6 rooms in the rest house.
