Every morning, as the sun painted the sky with hues of pink and gold, old lady would embark on a journey to the Beki river's edge with her trusted companion, the Jakoi (fishing gear), Khaloi (Bamboo basket to collect fishes) traditional fishing gears that echoed with tales of generations past. The bamboo made Jakoi & Khaloi were not just a tool for her; it was a bridge connecting her to the legacy.
As old lady made her way back home, her heart swelled with contentment.
The river, the Jakoi, Manas National Park, and the timeless traditions of her village
had once again woven a tapestry of beauty and connection. Ladie’s story, like
the flowing waters of the Beki, continued to ripple through time, leaving an
indelible mark on the hearts of those who embraced the magic of tradition.
